Shannon McCormick: Countless Stories from Jackson, WY

If you have ever been to a concert in Jackson Hole, WY, chances are you might see Shannon – you might be able to point out his ginormous hat. Shannon is the programming advisor for the Center for the Arts in Jackson Hole, WY. He is the founder of Jackson Hole Live! Concert Series and the owner of Live Event Strategies.

Hailing from New London, WI, Shannon moved to Jackson in the 80’s and worked as a bartender at the Mangy Moose. His world of organizing concerts, living out west, and working as a fly-fishing guide is bound to have numerous stories, and I was lucky to hear many during our conversation.

Susan Stein: Playwright, Performer, Founder of the Etty Project

Susan Stein is the founder, playwright, and performer of the Etty Project. She has spent the past 11 years touring her original play, Etty to theaters, universities, schools, prisons and other venues across the country and internationally. The Etty project shares the journals and writings of Etty Hillesum, a young Jewish Dutch student living and writing in occupied Amsterdam in 1942.

I had the opportunity to sit down with Susan after watching her play, and I was hooked. Her passion for her work is inspiring and beautiful. This is an episode you don't want to miss. You will hear more about the creation of the Etty Project, Susan's personal journey, and more about the true beauty in Etty's diary.

Erin Carey: Roaming the World on a 47 Foot Yacht

Going Places is going GLOBAL! Erin Carey is the founder and director of Roam Generation, a travel-focused PR agency. She currently lives on a 47-foot-yacht and travels across the globe.

Hailing from Australia, Erin and her husband decided to leave the comfort-zone of the suburbs to pursue adventure with their two sons after watching a sailing documentary called Maidentrip. After intense research and planning, they ended up buying their yacht sight unseen!

Kelly Mann CPA: Authentic Entrepreneur, CEO, Mom, Cancer Patient

Kelly Mann is the Co-Founder and CEO of AuditMiner: an employee benefits auditing software company. She is also the founder of her own CPA firm, a mom of 3, and a cancer patient.

In the middle of a pandemic, nearly 6 months after founding AuditMiner, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. In April 2021, following multiple rounds of chemo, AuditMiner was launched.
